Penn Cutaneous Pathology Services, the dermatopathology division of Penn Dermatology, provides a full range of skin studies, including:

  • Routine hematoxylin-eosin stains
  • Histochemical stains
  • Immunohistochemical stains
  • Direct and indirect immunofluorescence
  • ELISA testing for pemphigus and pemphigoid
  • Sezary cell analysis

Penn Cutaneous Pathology Services are Joint Commission accredited and staffed by experienced American Society of Clinical Pathology certified histotechnologists. The state-of-the-art laboratory provides prompt, reliable results and the highest level of quality and service.

Penn dermatopathologists and oral pathologist have more than 50 years of combined experience in these specialized fields, with extensive knowledge in:
